Pachycephalosaurus knows how to use her head.

She's a smart dinosaur.

Pachycephalosaurus is clever and determined to solve problems. She knows that her curiosity is her greatest asset and strength.

Some dinosaurs like to blend in with the crowd. Not this plucky dinosaur. She's been told no a lot, and at first she listened. She listened to the no's that told her not to show her strengths, to clamp down on her curiosity, to be quiet. Until the day she realized she was fading away and didn't know herself anymore. That is the day she started using her head, and told herself yes. She took back her own power with that one simple word: "Yes." It's been said a lot that dinosaurs were stuffy, slow, simple minded - that's totally wrong.

Dinosaurs were smart, savvy, determined to thrive and to solve problems - and they were curious.

Dinosaurs like Pachycephalosaurus were masters of ingenuity, and it serve them well for millennia - lengths of time so long and vast that as humans we can barely comprehend how long the dinosaurs challenged the status quo and adapted in amazing ways to survive and thrive. Their curiosity so important because they tried new things, explored new places, tested out different ways to interact so that the whole community could benefit. Dinosaurs like this beautiful Pachycephalosaurus didn't evolve such fantastic head gear with the accentuated bony skull and knobby bumps by accident. Wonderful variations happened because as a species these magnificent dinosaurs were always pushing forward, allowing themselves to be unique and do what works for them.

We can take away a lot of lessons from that, especially that when we allow our curiosity room to explore, question, and discover we become wonderfully unique. And that is a very good thing. Your curiosity is a treasure to be cultivated, strengthened, and encouraged to awaken curiosity and independent thought in others.

There is more than one way to solve any problem.

Curiosity is the key.
